THREE WAY TOUR ON 10TH MARCH 2019
Please meet at the Veteran Club Rooms, 1376 Old Cleveland Road, Carindale at 9.30am.
You will need to bring your own chair, lunch and any refreshments required at lunch time. The canteen at Fort Lytton does sell cold drinks and tea & coffee.
Morning tea will be supplied by QVVA at the Club Rooms.
TOUR INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE GIVEN OUT ON THE DAY.
We’ll travel to Fort Lytton for lunch via Moreton Bay – total mileage 20klm
As Fort Lytton is a National Park, we aren’t able to bring dogs or smoke on the property.
At Fort Lytton we will enjoy the cool breezes under the shady trees – there will also be some gazebos to sit under. High tide will be at 11.30am.
There will be volunteers leading tours at 12.45pm and 1.45pm if you’d like to learn the history of the Fort. These tours cost a gold coin to participate. Please bring a hat and sunscreen if you intend to take the tour as shade is limited.
